H.G.Kuriakose Mor Gregorios
(Metropolitan of Kallisserry region)
Rabban Kuriakose Chaluparampil was consecrated as the suffragan Metropolitan of the Knanaya Archdiocese in Malankara with the name Mor Gregorios Kuriakose on Friday, 2nd February 2007 at the St. Peter & St. Paul's Patriarchal Cathedral at Ma`rrat Sayyidnaya, Damascus, Syria, by His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas, the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East. The Knanaya Archbishop Mor Severios Kuriakose, Malankara Episcopal Synod Secretary Mor Gregorios Joseph, patriarchal secretaries Mor Athanasius Geevargese, Mor Athanasius Elia Bahi and Mor Philexinos Mathias, assisted His Holiness in the consecration. Hundreds of priests and faithful from Knanaya community from India and abroad participated in the holy ceremony.
On Saturday, 10th February, H.G. Mor Gregorios Kuriakose returned to Malankara and a public reception was given to the Metropolitan at Chingavanam in the afternoon. Later the Sunthroniso of the new Metropolitan was held at the St.John's Cathedral under the auspices of the H.B. Catholicos Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I. Mor Gregorios Kuriakose who was ordained as the assistant to Archbishop Mor Severios Kuirakose, was later given independent charge of Kallisserry region of the Knanaya Archdiocese, which was formed on June 1, 2008.
H.G.Mor Ivanios Kuriakose

Mor Ivanios Kuriakose, the auxiliary bishop of the Knanaya archdiocese was elevated to high priest-hood along with Mor Silvanos Ayoub on June 12, 2008 by His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas, the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and the supreme head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church. The consecration ceremony was held at the St. Peter & St. Paul's Patriarchal Cathedral at Ma`rrat Sayyidnaya, Damascus, Syria.
Mor Ivanios Kuriakose (formerly known as Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Kolath) was born on June 9, 1964 to Kolath K G Abraham and Thankamma. He attained his degree and post graduation from the Kerala and M.G. Universities respectively. Later he joined the Vidiya Jyothi Catholic seminary, New Delhi. On August 15, 1993 the former Metropolitan of the Archdiocese, H.E. Mor Clemis Abraham ordained him Kassisso (full priest) at the St. George Church, Neelamperoor. He was the secretary of the priestly council of the Archdiocese. As per the decision of the Archdiocese, Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Kolath was raised to the order of Ramban on 26 May 2008 by H.G. Kuriakose Mor Severios, Mor Gregorios Kuriakose and Mor Koorillos Geevarghese of Niranam. The ceremony was held at St. Thomas Church (Valiya Pally), Ranni.
